Good evening and welcome to Ostrava!
We are gathered here to find the best song in Global Music 2025!
Last year, Aiko and Teya won the Super Final for Czech Republic, which is why we are here this year.
This year, the Super Final will follow the same format as last year.
It will consist of a total of 7 rounds of voting. In each round the competing songs will face off in duels, with the winner advancing to the next round.
The 7 rounds of the Super Final are:
ROUND 1:
All countries who did not win a medal this year and has participated in at least 3 editions and qualified for at least one final will be represented by their best placed song in 2025. 25 countries have qualified based on these terms, so Uganda has been added as the best placed country not fulfilling the requirements. The winner of each duel plus one wild card will proceed to Round 2. In case of a tie in a duel, the manager selects the winner.
ROUND 2:
The songs qualified from Round 1 will be joined by the Silver and Bronze Medallists from all 11 editions of Global Music in 2025. Again the songs will go head to head in duels with one song from each duel moving on. This means that 19 songs will progress to Round 3.
ROUND 3:
The 19 qualifiers from Round 2 will join the 11 champions of 2025, so 30 songs will be competing in 15 duels with the winners plus one wild card moving on.
ROUND 4:
16 songs now becomes 8.
ROUND 5 - THE QUARTER FINALS:
8 songs in 4 duels.
ROUND 6 - THE SEMI FINALS:
