Meet the Manager

​Hi, my name is Mikkel, I'm 45 and live in Denmark.

I created this song contest in August 2005 simply because I love song contests!

It's a great way of getting to know the music scene from other countries, since a lot of songs only become hits in their homecountry or the countries very close to it. I think we miss out on so much fantastic music by only listening to the radio.

Naturally, I've been taking part since the beginning, playing for my native Denmark.
I'm the general manager, meaning that I make up the rules and all the tough calls :) Furthermore I run all the editions and keep the website up to date.
