Welcome to London
"Gothic Grandeur by the River"
Vibrant and noisy, London is one of the world’s leading cities, an international capital of culture, education, fashion, music, finance, trade, and politics. This enormous city is divided into 32 boroughs, each one offering a distinct vibe and flavor to visitors from around the world. London has one of the most comprehensive public transportation systems in the world, and the popular Tube, trains, and buses service most tours. The city features countless attractions to suit every taste and budget, but its main appeal may very well be its extraordinary diverse things to do. Take just a short walk through any part of London, and you’ll be left with the impression that the whole world has come to town. As writer Samuel Johnson famously said, "When one is tired of London, one is tired of life." Whether you’re looking for ancient history, modern art, shopping, or the frenetic energy of underground raves, London truly has an itinerary for everyone.

Denmark is a founding member of Global Music and even hosted the very first edition. In their first 17 participations, Denmark finished in the top 10 an impressive 11 times including 7 consecutive times from GM04 through GM10. However, the medals had eluded them until Annika Askman brought them their first gold medal only 2 editions ago. That was followed with a bronze medal on home ground and now Denmark strikes gold again! Well done Denmark, Bryan Rice and Mikkel!
