Once again it was a very exciting and close voting, and the battle was for the medals! With the very last set of votes, debuting Guatemala inched past Serbia to reclaim the lead, which they had held for almost the entire second part of the voting. With Serbia taking the silver and Nigeria the bronze, all medallists were first time medallists! Algeria and Cyprus rounded out the top 5. Hong Kong achieved their best ever result, finishing 11th.
This is the first time that Guatemala enters the contest and also the first time for its HoD, Roberto! What a debut! Well done Guatemala, Ricardo Arjona, Gaby Moreno and Roberto!
