Welcome to Vaduz
"Crowned by a turreted castle"
As the capital of Liechtenstein, Vaduz is the country's financial and economic hub. As you walk through the city, Vaduz may seem out of place in comparison to most European capitals. The country's recent prosperity means that its architecture is extremely modern, save for its most popular attraction, the Vaduz Castle. Nestled high above the city, the medieval fortress watches over the prosperous metropolis below. This is still home to the Prince of Liechtenstein and is a reminder that the small country even has its own monarchy.

This is Iraq's first entry in Global Music and it thus becomes the 5th country to win the contest on its debut. They join Sweden, Cyprus, Tunisia and Guatemala in this exclusive club. Seth has only been with us for a short time as well. He started of as HoD for Kenya, but after two failed attempts of reaching the final, he changed to Iran for one attempt, before he chose Iraq, making this his first appearance in a final, his first top 10 result, and his first gold medal all in one! Well done Iraq, Soma and Seth!
