⇧ Cliffs of Moher, County Clare

The Cliffs of Moher on Ireland’s west coast rise up to 214 meters above the Atlantic Ocean and stretch for about 8 kilometers along the rugged shoreline. From the cliff-top paths visitors enjoy sweeping ocean views, seabird colonies, and one of Ireland’s most dramatic coastal landscapes.

Trinity College Library, Dublin

Trinity College Library in Dublin houses the famous Book of Kells, a richly decorated manuscript created by monks in the 9th century. Its magnificent Long Room, a vaulted wood-paneled hall lined with thousands of historic volumes, is one of Ireland’s most iconic interiors.

Ring of Kerry, County Kerry

The Ring of Kerry is a scenic 179-kilometer circular route through some of Ireland’s most spectacular landscapes. The drive passes rugged coastlines, mountain passes, lakes, and charming villages such as Sneem and Kenmare.

Newgrange, County Meath

Newgrange is a prehistoric passage tomb built more than 5,000 years ago, making it older than Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids. The mound is aligned with the winter solstice sunrise, when sunlight illuminates the inner chamber through a narrow roof box.

Rock of Cashel, County Tipperary

The Rock of Cashel rises dramatically on a limestone outcrop above the surrounding countryside. This remarkable complex of medieval buildings includes a round tower, cathedral ruins, and the beautifully preserved Romanesque Cormac’s Chapel.

Killarney National Park, County Kerry

Killarney National Park, Ireland’s first national park, is known for its lakes, woodlands, and mountain scenery. Historic sites such as Ross Castle and Muckross House sit within the park, while trails lead through ancient oak forests and past Torc Waterfall.

Galway City

Galway City on Ireland’s west coast is famous for its lively atmosphere, colorful shopfronts, and traditional pubs. The bustling Latin Quarter hosts street performers, music sessions, and festivals that celebrate Irish culture throughout the year.

Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry

The Dingle Peninsula offers some of the most dramatic coastal scenery along the Wild Atlantic Way. The scenic Slea Head Drive passes steep sea cliffs, ancient stone beehive huts, and sweeping views toward the remote Blasket Islands.

Glendalough, County Wicklow

Glendalough, set in a glacial valley in the Wicklow Mountains, is home to one of Ireland’s most important early monastic settlements. A round tower, medieval churches, and peaceful walking trails surround two beautiful lakes in this historic landscape.
