In June we have been in Amsterdam, where the Ziggo Dome has hosted the 160th edition of Global Music.
26 countries competed in the grand final, and Chantal Janzen, Paul de Leeuw, Linda de Mol, Tim Douwsma, Davina Michelle and Duncan Laurence are now all ready to reveal the votes coming in from all the finalist countries - except Cyprus, who failed to vote - plus 7 countries, who despite being eliminated in the semi finals, still took the time to vote. And now let's get to it! Here is the live voting. You can also check out the complete scoreboard here and soon everything about this edition here. Congratulations to our winner! We all now anxiously await the selection of the next host city. Statistics, country pages and the artists database will be updated as soon as possible. |

The semi finals were really close, so an exciting final is ahead of us! As usual 26 countries are left at this stage fighting for the gold. Check out who made the cut! We are looking for Global Music Royalty # 19 and you have nominated these 3 artists:
Fabrizio Faniello
Three times finalist in Global Music and twice at the Eurovision Song Contest. One of the top selling artists hailing from the Mediterranean island of Malta with sales spanning across Europe to Asia, he has achieved some of the best results for Malta in GM.
Olly Murs
He is nominated for having won 3 medals on 5 participations: One of silver and two of the purest gold, making him a Double Global Music Champion! And that is even for two different countries...

26 countries competed in the grand final, and Aiste Pilvelyte, Vaidas Baumila and Monika Pundziute are now ready to reveal the votes coming in from 25 of the countries participating in the final plus 8 countries, who despite being eliminated in the semi finals, still took the time to vote. Puerto Rico failed to vote and has thus been stripped of the 97 points they were actually awarded in the final, and substitute votes have been used. And now let's get to it! Here is the live voting. This is to be able to fit the April edition into my travel plans for April, where I will be travelling to China for 10 days. With an earlier deadline, I should be able to put the April edition online by March 30th at the latest with a voting deadline set to April 8th.

At the moment he is HoD for China and responsible for that country's string of strong results lately. Alexander has completely free hands to spice the page up.
